NEXT STEPS COURSE
FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD SUNDAY OF THE MONTH AT 10AM
People often get confused between Holy Spirit Baptism and Water Baptism, but in fact, they are two completely different things.Water baptism is the full immersion in water, while Holy Spirit Baptism is the receiving of a special power from the Holy Spirit. It is normally accompanied by the evidence of speaking in tongues. (This is important because tongues is a special language that God gives us to enable us to communicate directly with Him).
Once you have received the Holy Spirit in this special way, you can then continually depend on the Spirit for guidance and strength in all circumstances.
“Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. The Holy Spirit is not a power, a force or energy. The Holy Spirit is God. We believe that God is one but constitutes three persons, namely the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.” Galatians 5:25 NLT
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere — in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NLT
To receive the Holy Spirit, all it involves is a simple prayer. We have regular times after our services to give people an opportunity to be prayed for to receive Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
